Lisa Magloff

Lisa is a London-based writer and editor who specialises in education, science, and technology. She enjoys learning about how to use innovation to meet the challenges of sustainability.

After earning a degree in Biology, Lisa began her career working as a journalist and fixer in the Middle East, where she worked on publications in business, news, and hospitality. She went on to work as managing editor of newspapers and magazines in Dubai and Aspen, Colorado, before moving to the UK.

As a writer, Lisa is inspired to find fascination in a wide variety of areas, from innovations in energy and biotech to the mental health crisis facing today’s youth, and the travails of London’s fox population. She has written extensively on travel, engineering, history, science, and religion.

Lisa has an MA in International Boundary Studies from Kings College. She lives in North London with her husband, one child, and two pet rats. She loves cooking, sailing, and travelling – which she never has enough time for.
